Two items for you on this last working Monday in May.
First, as we usually always give you a Breakout Stock Pick each Monday morning, today we will provide you with a list of a few potential breakouts. With the market in correcting mode and investors becoming more and more fearful, we cannot guarantee that our Breakout Stock Picks will rise significantly within a meaningful time frame. So below we have a list of 3 companies that we would like to be breakout candidates if market conditions were somewhat normal.
Secondly, we are giving away June’s issue of The Van Buren Report away free to all non-members. If you are interested in actually making some money on good solid stock picks and good long term companies just e-mail CustomerService@VanBurenReport.com with “June Issue” in the subject line.
Now here are the 3 Breakout Stock candidates we promised you:
ARUN Aruba Networks
RUBO Rubio’s Restaurants
PZZ Prospect Medical Holdings

For this list of the Top 10 International Stocks of 2010, I compiled a list of 10 exciting international companies who are currently successful and still have plenty of room to grow. All of these stocks trade on the New York Stock Exchange so they should be easy to trade and find information on. While some of the best international stocks do not trade on the American Stock Exchange and only in their home countries, for this report I made it easy and hope to introduce you or re-introduce you to some great international companies which I believe are still very undervalued.
During the coming months, for my column in the Van Buren Report Newsletter, I will feature both international companies who trade in America and those who do not. There are much more risks trading overseas but there is also great potential to hit it big.
I believe all the companies in this list will be strong, successful and will continue to grow for years to come. China was a monster this past year but I think South America could be the next big wave. Chile and Peru offer some great opportunities and we may see an explosion in the coming years.
While reading this report please remember that every investor is different and you should only invest in any companies that I mention below after you do your own due diligence to determine if it is the right investment for you.
Please enjoy this report and feel free to contact me at JerryH@VanBurenReport.com with any comments or feedback. Thank you for interest.

Well here it is ladies and gents. Sorry for the delay but apparently we had some computer issues this morning.
Our Breakout Stock Pick of the Year is Ceradyne Inc. [CRDN]. I have been watching this one for the past few months and I now think it is ready to bust out in the coming weeks. There is a lot to like about the company. There 1st quarter results for 2010 were up almost 10% from 2009’s first quarter.
Sales for the first quarter 2010 were $110.0 million, compared with $99.8 million in first quarter 2009. Net income for the first quarter 2010 increased to $5.0 million, or $0.20 per fully diluted share, compared to $0.7 million, or $0.03 per fully diluted share in the first quarter 2009. The net income for the first quarter 2010 included a pre-tax charge for losses on auction rate securities of $1.9 million or a reduction of approximately $0.05 to fully diluted earnings per share.
The company has an quite a few ceramic products in many different areas.
From the companies website:
Ceradyne, Inc. is a worldwide leader in the development and production of advanced technical ceramics. Vertically integrated manufacturing facilities produce advanced ceramic solutions for the most demanding applications in automotive/engine, oil & gas, nuclear power, industrial wear, medical, electronic and defense industries.
The stock closed on Monday at $23.44 and I think another run past its 52 week high of $24.32 is in the works. Take a long look at this potential breakout winner!

Company Basics:
Enersis S.A., through its subsidiaries, engages in electric power generation, transmission, and distribution in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Peru.
The Good:
This Chilean electric utility company is on the rise and has made significant profits over the past year. Enersis has great diversification as it has a foothold in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru.
The Bad:
While growth is inevitable, it may take its time as poverty rates in the countries it does its primary business in have not gone down. ENI does have some substantial debt that it has a hold on, however, some fluctuation in currency rates in a few countries can hinder their profits and operating efficiency.
The Lowdown:
With a growing South American population and a strong foothold in several South American countries, ENI is well positioned to take advantage of selling a product that everyone needs.

Company Basics:
Diageo is the world’s leading premium drinks business with an outstanding collection of beverage alcohol brands across spirits, wine and beer categories.
The Good:
Diego is by far the largest Spirits maker on the planet. Top brands such as Jose Cuervo tequila, Johnny Walker scotch, Smirnoff Vodka and Guinness Beer make Diageo them best of class in their field. Diageo’s exclusive rights agreements in certain regions give it a unique advantage which ensures higher profits than its competitors.
The Bad:
Selling a collection of premium alcohol has not always led to the best results in down times. While it is true when the economy is bad alcohol sales still flourish, it is usually the lower end liquors and beers that will sell more volume as consumers try to save a few bucks.
The Lowdown:
With a diversified product line, a safe and solid dividend and DEO being the top spirit company in the world this company is definitely worth a look. It would not surprise me if this company was trading at around $100 in the next five years.
